Shibarium Activity Remains Far Below Peak Levels Despite Reorganization Fix

Shibarium's reorganization issue has been resolved, according to an update from Mazrael, a Shiba Inu proponent. The development team had been working on resolving this issue, which led to Shibarium shutting down its previous public RPC endpoints.

The latest update is seen as a positive development for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. However, despite this progress, network activity remains significantly below its previous highs. In fact, at press time, Shibarium was processing only around 1,680 daily transactions, representing a 99.96% decline from the 4.69 million daily transactions recorded on August 21, 2025.

The Layer-2 network also experienced higher activity during its early months following its launch in 2023, with frequent transaction counts of around 4 million per day. This elevated activity helped drive the network's cumulative transaction count above 1.56 billion.
