Shibarium Completes Major Infrastructure Upgrade and Migration

The Shibarium ecosystem has completed its major infrastructure upgrade and migration to a new RPC environment. The reorganization issue that had been affecting the network has now been resolved, according to Kaal Dhairya, a developer for Shiba Inu.

A significant part of this upgrade involved the shutdown of old public RPC endpoints in late 2025, pushing users towards a new, stable, and decentralized infrastructure. This change was aimed at improving reliability and supporting the ecosystem's evolving needs.

In September 2026, Mazrael advised node operators about a full peer rotation within Shibarium. New Bor static-nodes and Heimdall persistent_peers were implemented, rendering the former nodes obsolete. The registry in ethereum-lists/chains was also updated to reflect these changes.
