Shibarium RPC Endpoint Updated to Resolve Connection Issues
Shibarium has updated its Chainlist RPC endpoint to resolve connection issues for users adding the network to wallets and Web3 platforms.
The correction was made after a community member, Mazrael, submitted a GitHub Pull Request that updated the registry's network information. The change addresses an inactive endpoint that remained in the registry following Shibarium's earlier RPC migration.
The issue originated from an earlier infrastructure transition, where Shibarium's former public RPC endpoints were closed in late 2025 as the network moved towards more stable and decentralized infrastructure.
Shibariumscan was also reindexing the layer-2 network during this update, which involves rebuilding an explorer's database by processing block and transaction information directly from the blockchain. This process can temporarily render records incomplete but does not remove transactions from the underlying network.
