Shibarium Sees Safe Contract Deployment Amid Operational Claims
A recent X post by Shiba Inu community member Mazrael has revealed that nine Safe contracts are now live and verified on Shibarium's block explorer, Shibariumscan. This deployment comes via a pull request titled 'safe-deployments PR#1666.'
Mazrael notes that Safe reviews canonical-deployment registrations on a two-week cadence with monthly releases. The added contracts provide projects with established tooling for managing assets and executing transactions through multiple signers.
According to a GitHub document, the deployment of all nine Safe v1.4.1 contracts on Shibarium mainnet at their canonical addresses has been completed via the Safe Singleton Factory. This implies that Safes created on Shibarium share addresses with their counterparts on other networks.
Mazrael pushed back against claims that Shiba Inu's layer-2 Shibarium is no longer functioning, stating that the network remains operational. He notes that the Shibarium infrastructure is still being maintained and migrated, and the community is still operating around it.
