Shibarium's Activity Slump: Will It Deter SHIB's Next Breakout?

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has seen recent gains in its price, but it still lags far behind its record highs from 2021. Despite a monthly increase of 11.81%, SHIB remains 93.5% below its all-time high of $0.00008616.

The project's layer-2 blockchain, Shibarium, has seen declining transaction activity, down to around 1,680 daily transactions from its peak of 4.69 million in August 2025. This decline raises concerns about the network's health and potential impact on SHIB's price.

Developers have addressed a chain reorganization issue, but migration towards a new RPC service remains incomplete, which may limit recovery in network participation. If transaction volumes recover, market confidence could improve, potentially leading to a breakout for SHIB.
