Shibarium's Weak Network Activity Threatens Shiba Inu Breakout
Shibarium's recent activity has sparked hopes for a price breakout in Shiba Inu. Despite SHIB's monthly gains, it remains far below its all-time high of $0.00008616, reached on October 27, 2021. The token now trades at $0.0000056, down 5.31% from the previous day and 0.23% lower than seven days ago.
Shibarium is Shiba Inu's layer-2 blockchain, which processes transactions at lower costs before final settlement on Ethereum. However, recent network data has raised concerns as daily transaction volumes have dropped sharply to around 1,680, down from a peak of 4.69 million in August 2025.
The decline represents a drop of about 99.96% and highlights the importance of active usage for blockchain value. A network with low activity generates fewer fees, which means less support for token-burning mechanisms. Developers have already addressed a chain reorganization issue, but migration toward a new RPC service remains incomplete.
