Shibburn Warns Shiba Inu Holders: Beware of Unexpected Wallet Requests

The Shiba Inu community has been warned by Shibburn to exercise caution when interacting with unexpected wallet requests. This warning comes as the crypto market continues to face security issues, including major DeFi exploits and exchange breaches. In an X post, Shibburn reminded users that unfamiliar wallet requests should not be treated casually, particularly those asking to approve permissions or sign transactions.

Apart from the warning about unexpected wallet requests, Shibburn also cautioned against sharing seed phrases or private keys with anyone, as legitimate support teams will not ask for either. This is a broader security issue facing crypto users, where a transaction may appear routine but grant a decentralized application permissions that users may not fully understand.

According to the Shibburn website, a total of 2,604,774 SHIB has been burned in the last 24 hours, with the daily burn rate falling by 8.74%. The cumulative total of SHIB burned in the last seven days is 48.52 million, and over three billion have been burned in the last 30 days.
