Shopify has partnered with Meta to enable its AI assistant, Muse, to finalize transactions on Shopify's merchant network using Shop Pay.

The integration allows users to shop and checkout with ease, as described by Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke in a social media post.

Muse is an AI-powered assistant that can execute practical tasks on behalf of users, including scheduling and financial management, and now extends to e-commerce transactions.

Shares of SHOP jumped 7.3% to $137.92 at Monday's closing bell after the announcement, with continued momentum showing pre-market increases of over 5% the following day.
