The Shiba Inu community is eagerly waiting for Shytoshi Kusama to break his silence on X, which has been ongoing for 74 days. Since May 13, Kusama has not posted on X nor engaged with any post, fueling speculation that a major announcement could be imminent.

This is not the first time Kusama has stepped away from posting on X to maintain a low profile on social media. In late 2025 and part of 2026, he also went silent for periods of time. When questioned about his absence, Kusama attributed it to building something, revealing an independent AI project he had been working on in January.

Kusama frequently uses X as his primary communication channel with the community, often updating his bio and location to convey subtle hints or thoughts through live broadcasts. However, without new posts from him, the community is left to piece together developments from Shiba Inu ecosystem contributors and on-chain activity instead.
