VanEck's Head of Digital Assets Research Matthew Sigel says Bitcoin would be fine under a Democratic administration. This contradicts the common perception that Democrats are anti-crypto.

Sigel notes that ex-President Joe Biden wasn't necessarily anti-Bitcoin, but his regulatory actions may have targeted other cryptocurrencies instead.

The price of Bitcoin surged after Trump's 2024 victory and has risen nearly 24% in the past week, reaching as high as $81,160 before dropping to its current price of $78,438.
