Silvia Trims Bitcoin Holdings Amid Share Repurchases
Silvia, a company formerly known as ProCap Financial, has made significant moves in its Bitcoin holdings and share repurchases. Between September 15th and September 22nd, Silvia reduced its Bitcoin (BTC) holdings by approximately 124 BTC. At the close of September 22nd, the company held around 5,130 BTC, compared to roughly 5,254 BTC one week earlier.
The reduction in Bitcoin holdings coincides with a share repurchase program that has seen Silvia repurchase about 14.5% of its outstanding shares since launching the buyback plan. The company's outstanding shares currently stand at 82,881,223, while its net asset value is around $4.27 per share.
Silvia plans to continue this repurchasing program until its stock no longer trades below net asset value. This move aims to stabilize the company's stock price and potentially increase shareholder value in the long run.
