Singapore Crypto Activity Hits Record $284 Billion Amid Institutional Growth
Singapore's crypto activity reached $284 billion in July 2025 through June 2026, according to Chainalysis. This represents a 55.4% year-over-year increase and makes Singapore's measured crypto economy the largest in the region.
The institutional-platform business nearly doubled, climbing 94% to $60 billion. Much of this growth was driven by market makers, over-the-counter firms, and institutional brokerages.
Daniel Yang, head of compliance at QCP Group, noted that the narrative around crypto has broadened beyond trading returns to include payments, treasury management, and market infrastructure.
