Singapore Summits Tackle Stablecoins and Vault-Based Investment
The financial hub of Singapore is hosting two major digital finance summits focused on stablecoins and vault-based investment structures. The events, organized by XREX and Morpho respectively, are expected to draw over 600 attendees from various sectors including payments, decentralized finance, digital assets, and institutional finance.
XREX's Stablecoin Summit will cover topics such as central bank digital currencies, deposit tokens, fiat-pegged stablecoins, non-fiat stablecoins, and decentralized finance-based stablecoins. The summit will feature speakers from top companies like Stripe, Coinbase, Visa, and SAP.
Morpho's Vault Summit, on the other hand, will center around vault infrastructure, a segment of onchain finance that packages digital asset strategies for institutional or managed allocation. Organizers said the program will examine how institutions assess risk, deploy capital, gain exposure to tokenized real-world assets, and compare vault structures with conventional investment funds.
The growth of stablecoins has been rapid, reaching nearly $300 billion in market value. However, there is still a need for shared standards across different systems and jurisdictions. XREX's Co-Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer, Wayne Huang, emphasized the importance of creating common infrastructure and standards to connect efforts and facilitate seamless value transfer.
