Singapore Surges to $284 Billion in Crypto Activity
Singapore has solidified its position as the leading crypto hub in Asia, according to Chainalysis analysts. The city-state saw a significant increase in digital asset transaction volume, rising by 55.4% over the year to $284 billion.
This growth is largely attributed to institutional platforms, with transaction volumes through market makers, brokers, and OTC services increasing by 94% to $60 billion.
The share of assets in non-custodial wallets in Singapore fell from 88% in 2023 to 28% by mid-2026, suggesting a shift towards more regulated exchanges and custody solutions.
