A hack on the SingularityNET bridge has widened into a broader key-compromise event across the stack, resulting in the unauthorized minting of 260 million AGIX and 53.838 million WMTx on Ethereum.

The incident began with an exploit that emptied Fetch.ai's Ethereum-based token converter and produced 408.5 million NTX on September 19, 2026. The same attack cluster later minted the additional tokens on September 20, 2026, with a total value of approximately $16.77 million at the time of PeckShield's alert.

Fundamental to the incident was the compromised signing key used by the attacker to produce valid signatures for converter calls and NuNet mints. This enabled the unauthorized minting of AGIX and WMTx on Ethereum, which have since driven price action on listed venues.
