Smaller Bitcoin Holders Sold Before $85K Rally
Bitcoin's recent breakout above $85K has sparked interest in its price movement. According to data, smaller wallet holders sold their coins before this rally. Between July and August, about 62,335 wallets holding between 0.1-1 BTC and another 7,159 wallets holding 1-10 BTC disappeared.
This selling activity is significant because capitulation can leave supply in stronger hands. Once fearful holders finish selling, less reactive supply may remain available to dump into another rally, particularly when larger buyers continue absorbing coins.
The timing of this wallet decline is notable as it came before Bitcoin broke above $85K for the first time since January, suggesting smaller holders had already reduced exposure before momentum returned.
