Smarter Web's MORE Rally Boosted by Saylor's Digital Credit Endorsement
Michael Saylor's recent essay on X has sparked interest in digital credit issuers, highlighting their potential to strengthen one another rather than compete for investors. The Smarter Web Company (LON: SWC), a UK-based firm that has seen its share price increase by 66.4% this year, is set to issue a new preferred share called MORE.
MORE pays a cumulative variable weekly dividend and carries a liquidation preference and redemption option, making it a digital credit instrument by Saylor's definition. The company's plan to list the first preferred share issued by a UK corporate Bitcoin holder has been met with enthusiasm from investors, with TD Cowen raising its price target on the stock to £0.73.
The link between Saylor and The Smarter Web Company is not new, as Saylor had previously spoken kindly about the company at the $BTC Prague conference in June 2025. The firm has since spent over $300 million acquiring Bitcoin and holds 2,747 BTC, ranking it 29th among public corporate holders.
