Socure Integrates RiskOS into Circle's Arc Onramp for USD Coin
Socure has integrated its RiskOS platform into Circle's Arc Onramp for USD Coin (USDC), adding identity verification and fraud prevention to the onboarding process. This integration places RiskOS in the financial applications using Arc, supporting identity verification, fraud prevention, compliance, and real-time risk decisions.
RiskOS provides identity signals through a configurable decision-making layer for developers and institutions, serving as a service provider in the onramp flow for payment processors. The service currently supports purchases of digital assets with fiat currency but does not support converting digital assets back into fiat.
The integration announcement did not identify Socure as Arc Onramp's exclusive identity provider. Socure co-founder and CEO Johnny Ayers noted that 'settlement went from days to under a second with the crypto ecosystem. The decision about whether to trust the counterparty didn't.'
