Soil Launches First RWA Yield Protocol for RLUSD on XRP Ledger
Soil, developed by ORQO Group, has launched what it describes as the first compliant real-world asset, backed yield protocol on the XRP Ledger. This allows RLUSD holders to earn fixed on-chain returns for the first time.
The rollout adds yield functionality to Ripple's U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin at a moment when XRPL has moved ahead of Solana in tokenized asset value.
Through Soil's platform, holders of RLUSD can deposit tokens into on-chain vaults on XRPL that generate returns backed by private credit, tokenized Treasuries, and market-neutral hedging strategies.
The protocol's initial $1 million in asset pools was filled in under 72 hours, which the team cited as evidence of demand for regulated yield products within the XRPL ecosystem.
