Sol Strategies Builds Solana Treasury and Validator Business Amid Diversification

Sol Strategies Inc., trading as HODL on the Canadian Securities Exchange and STKE on the Nasdaq Global Select Market, is building a Solana treasury, validator, and privacy-tech business rather than a Bitcoin one. The company's CEO Leah Wald described it as 'one of the first Solana-focused companies to achieve a Nasdaq listing.'

Sol Strategies generates revenue from three distinct activities: validator infrastructure, liquid staking through its STKESOL platform, and privacy technology via Houdini Swap, a non-custodial cross-chain swap aggregator. As of May 1, 2026, the company reported total treasury holdings, including liquid-staked SOL, of 530,712 SOL, valued at approximately CAD $60.3 million.

The company's diversification strategy means it is moving beyond a pure treasury-holding model into fee-generating infrastructure and transactional revenue from swap volume that is 'independent of SOL price.'
