Solana and Hyperliquid ETFs Attract Over $1 Billion in Inflows Amidst Bitcoin Outflow
Solana and Hyperliquid exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are experiencing significant inflows, attracting $904 million in assets for Solana and $350 million since May for Hyperliquid.
The influx of capital comes as spot Bitcoin ETFs shed around $8.2 billion over an eight-week outflow streak that ended on July 6, while Ethereum funds also saw declines.
Solana's inflows are seen as a sign of renewed confidence in the coin, which has dropped by about 60% over the past year.
The Solana chain is set to undergo an overhaul called Alpenglow, which will reduce transaction finality times from 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds sometime between August and October.
