Solana and Remittix: A Tale of Two Turnarounds
Solana's remarkable turnaround from its low of around $8 in late 2022 to a peak near $295 in early 2025 is one of the strongest examples of a turnaround becoming a mainstream investment theme. Recently, U.S. Solana funds saw a substantial inflow on September 25, keeping SOL in the institutional conversation despite trading around $120.
Remittix, not a new Solana project, but with similar ambitions, is reaching a moment of scrutiny. Its payments, trading, and wallet services are already showing promise. With its November 24 token launch approaching, investors are taking notice of what it could bring into focus.
Solana's Alpenglow upgrade aims to improve performance by targeting 150-millisecond finality compared to the current slower confirmation process. Faster finality could enhance applications requiring quick settlement. However, the upgrade still needs to be tested at scale. Institutional access is growing alongside the technical roadmap, with Solana funds attracting $86.7 million on September 25.
Remittix targets an everyday financial workflow by addressing a familiar need for remote workers, businesses, and families: moving value to someone's bank account abroad without forcing the recipient through an exchange. Its PayFi network converts supported assets into local fiat across more than 30 currencies. The platform has already processed millions in trading volume, with hundreds of perpetual pairs available on its trading platform.
