Solana Apps Generate Record $180M in Revenue as Monthly Active Programs Surge
Solana's app revenue soared to a nine-month high of $180 million in September, making it the top-performing blockchain network for the month.
This surge in revenue comes on the heels of a strong day on September 12, when daily app revenue peaked at $7.935 million, outpacing four major networks combined, including Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain.
Solana's weekly app revenue also reached a high of $49.9 million in late September, its highest level since mid-2025, while monthly active programs on the network rose to 7,699, a record since August 2025.
The jump in revenue and activity metrics suggests that builders are responding positively to Solana's growth, but it also implies that rivals were not standing still, as Solana's market share slipped from 38.1% in August to 32% in September.
