Solana Bolstered by Former Binance Executive, AlphaPepe's AI DEX Launches Early Access
Solana has made two significant announcements that could impact its price in the coming months. Rachel Conlan, the former global chief marketing officer at Binance, has joined Solana as its new chief strategy officer. She will focus on institutional partnerships and ecosystem growth.
Conlan's hiring is a boost to Solana's efforts to attract more businesses onto its network. Additionally, Jamal Raees, formerly of Polygon Labs, has been appointed as the general manager of payments at Solana. His role will be to get companies to use Solana as payment infrastructure.
Solana's recent price action has seen it trade around $117, and with over $5 trillion in stablecoin volume expected in 2026, the network is showing signs of growth. However, traders still need to see more evidence of institutional adoption before they can expect SOL to rise further.
Meanwhile, AlphaPepe's AI DEX, which is built by an ex-Shibarium developer, has launched its Early Access product, allowing traders to explore the interface before ALPE lists publicly. The team claims that over $2.79 million has entered the presale, and more than 12,000 holders have joined.
