Solana Boosts Transaction Capacity Amid Record Network Activity

Solana has rolled out significant performance upgrades as network activity reaches record levels.

The blockchain's transaction size has tripled, increasing to 4,096 bytes with the new V1 transaction format.

This allows developers to bundle more complex actions into a single transaction, reducing the risk of partial completion.

The upgrade also gives developers more flexibility over how transactions are constructed, including up to 64 accounts directly and providing information about computing needs and fees within the transaction itself.
