Solana Bulls Target $500 as Bears Warn of $80 Crash
Solana's price has been on a tear, gaining nearly 33% over the past month and testing the $100 psychological level. Analysts are divided between a major breakout and a sharp correction, with some predicting targets as high as $500 or even $1,000.
The token's recent surge in momentum, whale purchases, and spot ETF demand have bolstered the bullish case. Whales such as HURDw have been buying up Solana tokens, with one investor purchasing nearly $30 million over three weeks. Additionally, issuers like Bitwise, Fidelity, Grayscale, VanEck, and Franklin Templeton are acquiring Solana tokens to back their spot products.
However, not all analysts are optimistic about Solana's prospects. The bearish case argues that the token is weakening and may drop towards $80. This view is supported by indicators such as a bearish divergence in the Stochastic oscillator and a Relative Strength Index below 30, placing the token in oversold territory.
