Solana Cuts Network Slot Time to 350ms in Bid for Faster Blockchain

Solana has reduced its network slot time to 350 milliseconds as part of its plan to make the blockchain faster and more efficient.

This move is the first step in Solana's goal to reach a slot time of 300ms, with further reductions planned to 250ms and eventually 200ms.

According to Jacob Creech, vice president of technology at the Solana Foundation, this change marks 'a new era of 350ms' before adding that 'next stop, 300ms.'
