Solana dominated the tokenized equities trading market this week, handling 65% of all trading volume in a single day. This share was 85% higher than the combined volume of every other blockchain. Tokenized equities are digital tokens that track the price of real stocks, offering 24/7 trading and quick settlements through decentralized exchanges (DEXs).
In Q2 2026, Solana captured 95-97% of global DEX tokenized equity volume, with trading on Solana DEXs reaching $5.8 billion, up 114% from the previous quarter. The busiest day was June 24, with volume peaking at $644 million. By late June, cumulative tokenized stock volume on Solana passed $10 billion, reaching $12.4 billion by early October.
On September 12, 2026, Solana processed over $200 million in tokenized equity trading volume, surpassing the combined volume of Nasdaq and NYSE by more than $100 million. Raydium, a major Solana-based DEX, facilitated 63-70% of the activity. Tokenized equity supply on Solana hit an all-time high of $684 million by mid-September, up 47% in just three weeks, with holder counts ranging from 727,000 to 850,000 wallets.
Through August 2026, 63% of Solana’s tokenized equity trading occurred outside standard US market hours. However, as late September approached, competition intensified, and Solana’s market share dropped to around 35%, with Robinhood Chain overtaking it at roughly 39% of the market.
