Solana ETF Inflows Smash Records Amid Failing Price Action
Over the past week, Solana's ETF inflows have reached an all-time high of $1.22 billion, setting a record for the cryptocurrency. This figure includes a single day of $33.5 million in inflows on Monday alone, making it the largest single-day total for 2026 so far.
This influx of funds is notable, but it doesn't seem to be translating into higher prices for SOL holders. The token's price has remained relatively steady at around $96, down 2.36% from its daily high and 49% lower than its all-time high of $293.31.
The Solana network itself is seeing a surge in activity, with onchain transactions reaching a record 4.2 billion in July, representing a 13.5% increase over the previous month. This growth can be attributed to both an increase in capacity and the rise of meme coins, which have seen weekly spot volume reach $5.2 billion, a high for 2026.
The Alpenglow upgrade is expected to bring faster finality to the network, but its impact on price remains uncertain. For now, traders are left watching as record flows and throughput arrive without a corresponding increase in SOL's value.
