Solana's price jumped around 15.5% in two sessions to reach $86 on August 20, 2026, after a fresh influx of ETF money and the start of the Agave v4.2 upgrade moving through its mainnet.

The token saw cumulative net inflows of around $1.16 billion across U.S. spot Solana funds, according to SoSoValue data reported by BeInCrypto and Yahoo Finance.

However, this figure is smaller than it seems due to the price of SOL doing 'plenty of damage' to fund values since its launch, with the Solana ETF category ending the week of August 10-14 at around $893.5 million in net assets.

The flows into Solana were not broad, but rather lumpy, with some funds seeing significant inflows while others recorded no net flows during that same week.
