Solana Foundation Appoints New Leaders to Drive Growth and Payment Expansion
The Solana Foundation has appointed Rachel Conlan as its new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Jamal Raees as General Manager of Payments. Both appointments are aimed at strengthening the foundation's strategy and payment infrastructure.
Rachel Conlan, who previously served as Global CMO at Binance, will lead the development of strategies for institutional partnerships, ecosystem growth, and go-to-market initiatives. She will also be responsible for promoting Solana adoption among businesses and users.
Jamal Raees, a former employee of Polygon Labs, where he was responsible for the US payments department, will focus on expanding Solana's payment infrastructure globally. He has also worked at Bridge and Wyre.
The Solana Foundation believes that these appointments will help to accelerate the growth of Solana's financial activities among businesses and financial institutions, as well as enhance its payment capabilities.
