The Solana Foundation has made two key hires in recent days, as it continues to build out its team and expand its reach. Rachel Conlan, a former Chief Marketing Officer at Binance, is joining the foundation as its new Chief Strategy Officer. Conlan will focus on developing institutional partnerships, driving ecosystem growth, and leading sales initiatives to attract companies to the Solana network.

Conlan's experience in marketing and partnerships will be invaluable as the Solana Foundation works to secure relationships with banks, asset managers, and payment companies. This is particularly important as the financial sector increasingly shifts towards blockchain technology.

The foundation has also hired Jamal Raees, a veteran from Polygon Labs, as its new General Manager of Payments. Raees has a strong background in payment systems and stablecoins, gained through his work at Bridge (now part of Stripe) and Wyre. In this role, he will build relationships with payment companies and businesses looking to move funds across the Solana platform.
