Solana Foundation Sees Massive Uplift in Agentic Commerce with Pay.sh Rollout
The Solana Foundation's Vibhu Norby spoke to CNBC TV 18 about agentic commerce and on-chain growth, highlighting a massive uplift in transactions using pay.sh for AI agent stablecoin payments.
Norby stated that the rollout of pay.sh has enabled people to interact with their AI agents to perform tasks such as booking flights or reserving tables at restaurants using stablecoins on Solana. This development is part of the foundation's efforts to promote agentic commerce and drive adoption of the Solana blockchain.
According to Norby, the real-world asset footprint on Solana has surged to over $4 billion, with a diverse range of assets being tokenized, including treasuries, private credit funds, commodities, and even exotic long-tail assets like dinosaur fossils.
The foundation's goal is to become the home of internet capital markets, allowing anyone to invest in anything from public equities to startups or coffee shops using blockchain technology. Norby emphasized that tokenization rails can bridge the gap for Indian entrepreneurs seeking offshore private credit without breaking local compliance rules.
