Solana Network Activity Surges to New All-Time High
Solana's network activity has surged significantly over the past month, indicating increased user engagement and participation in the crypto market. According to data shared by CryptoJack, the Solana blockchain reached a new all-time high of 4.244 billion transactions in July, exceeding previous records.
This surge in transaction volume is driven by increased demand for rapid trade execution and DeFi applications on the Solana network. The data also shows that Solana leads its rivals in spiked activity and adoption, outperforming chains like BNB Chain, Bitcoin, TRON, and others in daily active users and daily on-chain transactions.
However, despite this increase in user activity, the price of SOL continues to struggle with a downtrend, currently trading at $73.99, down 2.5% and 10.4% over the past week and month, respectively. This divergence between on-chain activity and price movement has occurred repeatedly in the past.
