Solana Network Upgrades Bolstered by 250ms Slots

Solana's network upgrades have strengthened its case, particularly after it dropped its target slot time to 250 milliseconds and increased maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes.

This move makes block production approximately 17% faster than the preceding 300ms target. Transaction V1 also more than triples the data capacity of individual transactions, supporting more complex operations and reducing deployment costs for some programmes.

Solana's price has consolidated near $116.50 after climbing beyond $117, leaving the market to assess whether faster blocks, larger transactions, and ETF demand can support another advance.
