Solana Overtakes NYSE in Weekly Spot Trades
Solana has surpassed the New York Stock Exchange in weekly spot trades for the first time. According to data from The Kobeissi Letter, Solana decentralized exchanges processed about 208 million trades in the week ending September 13, outperforming the NYSE's roughly 190 million transactions.
The surge is largely driven by Jupiter, Solana's largest trading aggregator, which has seen a 38% month-over-month increase in trades. Weekly Solana spot DEX trade activity has climbed 185% from July lows.
This milestone marks a significant shift towards onchain markets and decentralized platforms, with traders watching to see if Solana can sustain its growth as SOL regains key long-term technical levels.
