Solana Overtakes Robinhood in Tokenized Commodities Trading Volume
Solana has taken the lead in tokenized commodities trading, surpassing Robinhood's volume for the first time. According to SolanaFloor, the network recorded a spot volume of $91.1 million between September 21 and September 27, capturing 28% of the total weekly spot trading volume. This marks a significant shift in the sector's liquidity distribution over the past month.
The circulating supply of tokenized commodities on Solana reached an all-time high of $50.5 million on August 25, stabilizing at around $45.6 million by the end of September. The PAXG token, backed by physical gold custody, leads the circulating supply with $10.89 million.
Solana's market share in this segment rose from 5% to 28% over a four-week span, according to SolanaFloor. This growth coincides with a sustained base of real-world assets (RWA) issued on the network's technical infrastructure.
