Solana Price Predicted to Hit $99 Before Next Leg
The Solana price has reached a peak of $103.85, but it's showing signs of exhaustion according to Joerg Hiller in an analysis published on August 29th, 2026. The RSI is deep in overbought territory at 73.87 and the MACD histogram has flatlined to zero, indicating that momentum has slowed down.
The chart suggests that SOL's rally is running on empty rather than conviction, as it hugs the upper Bollinger Band with a reading of 0.84. The intraday low of $102.28 already probed the pivot zone at $104.69, and SOL couldn't reclaim it on volume, indicating that sellers are leaning.
Despite the short-term bearish signals, the structure underneath SOL is stronger than the chart suggests, making this a trade rather than a trend reversal. The SMA 7 sits at $101.46, almost perfectly coinciding with the marked immediate support at $101.44. Below that, the strong support level at $99.03 acts as a secondary defense.
According to Hiller, the real battle is in the $99, $101.50 corridor, lose that on a daily close, and the conversation shifts to $93, $95. Hold it with volume, and $107.10 and then $110.35 re-open fast.
