Solana Price Rebounds on Strong ETF Flows and Upgrades
Solana's price has rebounded by 3.37% over the past 40 hours, primarily due to strong ETF flows and upgrades rather than a single new headline.
The US Federal Reserve raised interest rates for the first time since 2023, which pushed Treasury yields to multi-year highs and tightened financial conditions. The crypto-focused CLARITY Act also failed to advance in the US Senate, adding near-term uncertainty for digital assets.
Solana's spot ETF flows have attracted around $1.3-1.4 billion in net assets, with cumulative inflows over the past month above $200 million. This has helped drive the price higher despite the macro-heavy backdrop.
The protocol upgrades, including Transaction V1 and Alpenglow, are also expected to support Solana's growth. The Transaction V1 upgrade increases the maximum transaction size limit by about 3.3 times, enabling larger and more complex transactions on-chain.
