Solana Price Surges to $112 Amid Strong Fundamentals
Solana's price has surged to $112, marking an increase of about 11% in a day and reaching its highest level since January. The cryptocurrency's rise is attributed to several recent developments that have bolstered investor confidence.
One key driver of the rally is the Solana Foundation's announcement of Project Harmonia, which connects Solana to Allfunds, the world's largest fund distribution network. This partnership links more than 3,300 asset managers and financial institutions and oversees about 1.9 trillion euros in assets under management.
Additionally, the value of real-world assets on the Solana network has surpassed $4 billion, with over 350,000 addresses holding them. Assets under management for xStocks have also exceeded $500 million.
The improvements in payments and network performance are another contributing factor to Solana's recent price increase. The MoneyGram ramp began operating on the Solana network last month, enabling deposits in more than 25 countries and cash withdrawals in over 170 countries and territories. Furthermore, a plan was unveiled in August to gradually reduce the target slot time from 400 milliseconds toward 200 milliseconds.
