Solana Project Botanika Secures $1.5M for Hardware-Backed AI Infrastructure
Botanika, an infrastructure project focused on decentralized Proof-of-Importance (DePIN) and Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA), has secured $1.5 million in funding from CRIT Ventures, Baboon Ventures, Marble X, Daedalus Angels, and several notable angels.
The funds will be used to develop a hardware-backed infrastructure network targeting the growing demand for AI workloads.
Botanika's first product iteration, NIMBUS, is positioned as an infrastructure stack where revenue comes from actual demand rather than token inflation.
The project aims to distribute ownership of AI infrastructure through its model, which frames the risk of concentrating in a handful of large incumbents.
