Solana Sees $250M USDC Mint as Circle Manages Inventory

Circle has minted another large block of fresh USDC supply on Solana, adding 250 million tokens to the network.

The transaction is visible onchain and records exactly 250,000,000 USDC being minted through Circle's authorized Solana USDC infrastructure.

This is not a direct indicator that a buyer purchased $250 million of USDC; it simply means that the token supply available on Solana has increased by a quarter billion tokens.

Solana has become an important market for USDC, with fast transaction confirmation and relatively low fees making it useful for exchanges, payment applications, and high-frequency onchain markets.
