Solana's exchange balances have seen a significant increase over the past 17 days, with an influx of 2.35 million SOL tokens worth approximately $202 million at current prices.

This surge in trading volume coincided with Solana's Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio falling below 0.8, a threshold last reached in May 2022.

The MVRV ratio, which tracks market capitalization relative to realized capitalization, is classified as an 'Extreme Low' by Glassnode when readings fall below 0.8.

Solana's recent performance has been marked by a decline in price, with the token trading at $86 as of February 17, down approximately 70% from its January 2025 peak.
