Solana, the high-speed blockchain network known for cheap and fast transactions, has set an all-time record for weekly network activity. According to data from analytics firm Blockworks, Solana processed roughly 1.32 billion non-vote transactions between Aug. 17 and 23, 2026.

This figure is significant because it represents a clean gauge of real demand, excluding routine internal messages that validators send to keep the network running. The previous peak for weekly activity on Solana was around 1 billion transactions earlier in 2026, but this new record clearly surpasses that mark.

The data from Blockworks stretches back to Solana's early days in 2020 and shows a steady climb in activity through 2021, followed by a cooling period during the 2022 and 2023 bear market. The pace accelerated sharply in 2026, with several weeks approaching the billion-transaction level before this latest record broke through.
