Solana Soars as Network Activity Hits Record High
Solana's network activity reached an all-time high in July, processing a record-breaking 4.2 billion transactions, up 13.5% from June.
This surge in activity coincided with a rally in the price of SOL, which jumped over 40% in just eight days and broke above $100 for the first time since February.
The growth in Solana's network has been accompanied by an increase in tokenized real-world assets on the platform, reaching nearly $4 billion, up 11.8% from the previous month.
The broader crypto market recovery also contributed to SOL's rally, with the US Treasury Department's announcement of doubling certain long-dated bond buybacks helping lift risk appetite across markets.
