Solana Store-of-Value Protocol ORE Unveils Efficiency Boosting Reserve
ORE, Solana's native store-of-value protocol, has made significant updates to its design. The new ORE Reserve uses a portion of protocol revenue to place buy-side liquidity below market price.
This change aims to improve the efficiency of ORE buybacks and reduce congestion on the Solana network.
The Reserve currently spans SOL, USDC, gold-backed tokens, and Zcash, with assets hosted across several ORE-paired markets.
ORE's mining system has been rebuilt multiple times since its introduction two years ago. The current grid-based design includes a five-million-token supply cap and rewards miners for successful rounds.
