Solana Surges on Tokenized Equity Dominance, AlphaPepe Aims for High-Risk Upside
Solana's dominance in tokenized equity trading is undeniable, with its share of on-chain volume reaching 97%. This impressive figure has led to a $90 price target for Solana, which is based on real institutional usage rather than mere hope.
The quarterly tokenized-asset volume on the Solana network hit a record $5.77 billion last quarter, driven largely by the trading of tokenized SpaceX shares following its IPO. However, it's essential to keep things in perspective: the on-chain equity market is still relatively small, with an absolute market cap of around half a billion dollars.
In contrast to Solana's solid fundamentals, AlphaPepe is positioning itself as a high-risk, high-upside bet. Its presale price is currently at $0.02501 in Stage 19, with over $2.22 million raised so far. While AlphaPepe has substance behind its product, including two audits and a fixed one-billion-token supply, investors should approach it with caution.
A warning sign for both assets is the divergence between weak price action and strengthening fundamentals. This kind of separation can sometimes precede a move, but it's equally likely to result in sideways trading for months.
