Solana Surges Past $120 as Institutional Demand Soars and Alpenglow Upgrade Advances
Solana's SOL token has broken through the $120 barrier for the first time since January, reaching an approximately 8% gain over the past week.
The Alpenglow network upgrade, which aims to accelerate transaction speed by reducing finality times from 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds, is currently live on devnet and has been deemed successful.
Institutional demand for Solana is also on the rise, with U.S.-listed Solana ETFs recording a record-breaking $86.67 million in single-day net inflows on September 25.
