Solana Surges Past $90 as AlphaPepe Gears Up for Key Catalysts
Solana has broken back above $90 after one of its strongest weekly rallies of 2026, putting the $100 level firmly back on traders' radar. The SOL token has climbed roughly 26% over seven days, with stronger crypto sentiment, ETF demand, and improving network performance helping revive momentum.
However, AlphaPepe (ALPE), a smaller asset, is still sitting at an earlier point in its cycle. Despite raising $2.46 million and entering Stage 20 at $0.02761, it has not yet experienced its first DEX or CEX trading cycle. This means buyers are still positioning before the open order book determines where the market values ALPE.
AlphaPepe's August catalysts may be more compelling for traders hunting earlier-cycle exposure than entering after a large-cap breakout has already happened. The project is set to release its complete roadmap on August 26, covering the timeline for presale closure and planned DEX and CEX launches. This update could answer one of the biggest remaining questions for buyers: exactly how much time is left before ALPE moves from presale pricing into public trading.
AlphaPepe's fourth centralized exchange will be revealed on August 31, following its full launch-timeline update. This announcement has fueled speculation about possible Tier-1 exposure, which could expose the project to a broader retail audience once trading begins.
