Solana Surges with Strong ETF Inflows and Governance Proposals
Solana's momentum continues as it leads in app revenue and sees strong inflows into its staking ETF. Bitwise's SOL staking ETF, BSOL, pulled in over $20 million in inflows this week, according to a tweet from CEO Hunter Horsley.
This marks the second time Solana has topped all chains in app revenue, with DefiLlama data confirming it held the number one spot last week. The network's earnings reflect real usage and not just price moves, making it a key indicator of its popularity among developers and users.
Three major governance proposals are set to go to a vote starting this Sunday at epoch 1021. These include introducing the Solana Constitution as a new governance framework (SGP 1), doubling disinflation by cutting emissions over six years (SGP 2), and implementing a Resource and Inclusion Fee that could raise SOL burn from 648 to 9,000 SOL per day (SGP 3).
The proposals aim to reshape the network's long-term token economics if passed. A tighter supply paired with rising demand can often support price over time.
